How to prepare for A-Level Results Day
With Results Day looming over you, every day that creeps closer and closer makes you more and more nervous. But don’t let it get to you. Stay positive, take a deep breath and relax. Here’s how to prepare for A-Level Results Day:
1. Lots of distractions
If you’re anything like me, your panic will be thinly-veiled and always close to the surface. So, distract yourself with friends and family, days out and films.
2. Try to relax
You’ve worked hard for months, so it’s important to have the downtime in preparation for A-level Results Day.
3. Have a contingency plan
There’s a lot less pressure on you if you have a backup plan. This way, if things don’t go to plan, you’ll be able to jump straight into action and get the ball rolling with your next idea.
4. Spend time with friends
Your friends are often going through the same A-Level Results Day stresses you are, and it always feels better to share. Reflect on this period with your friends, you may be all going your separate ways once uni starts so its good to make the most of the times that you are all in the same place.
5. Get excited about uni
Get excited about the fact you’re starting uni and that you’ve finished an important stage of your life. Soon you will be moving on to bigger and better things!
