It only strikes you once.

I know coming this from a person who's had over 6 relationships now, maybe sounds a lil hypocritical. But hey! they don't say experience is the best teacher for nothing.๐ŸŽ“

Personally, I had relationships where the guy cared about me much more than I did for him, and mostly I had relationships where I got too involved to notice how little he cared about how I felt, which was very damaging.๐Ÿ˜ญ

Now at the age of 23 (not a girl who hides her age๐Ÿ˜ฎ), when I finally found the one person who seemed perfect, it turned out to be my best friend, who was right there in my life for about 8years already! I didn't know whether to be proud or treat it like a douchebag alert!๐Ÿค”

But more importantly what I realised, was how different a relationship feels to you, when you don't have to pretend to be someone you are not.๐Ÿ˜ˆ

When changes happen on their own, and not after you decide.

When you improve yourself and not improvise!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Love is simple. Situations are complicated.

Acceptance comes easy if you are more accepting.

Comfort is what you find, not craving.

And none of that happened in my previous relations.๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

I fought.Even when I should have given up! My optimism is sometimes unwanted, seriously๐Ÿ™„

But even though you might feel you fall in love more than once, it ain't true.

Every Ted Mosby will only have one Robin Scherbatsky. The one person you will always be in love with. Maybe you won't get her, or might get her and lose her or have her forever. That really depends.

But you will always love that one person who is your Robin. A part of you will always belong to them, and you can live with that comfortably as far as you watch them smile.

My boyfriend was lucky enough to finally get me. If he reads this, I love u too baby ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

But yes, Love only happens once

P.S. nobody noticed how I didn't elaborate about the relationships where the guy cared more๐Ÿ˜œ #safewritingskills
