What is a little child like?
- They always questions because they don't know it all and they humbly accept that.
- They always ask for permission or approval before doing something.
- They always dependent on the help of those around them whether it be to prepare their food or tie shoes laces.
- They always believe everything they're told even if they don't completely understand it because they don't know what it is to doubt anything.
Now, if I asked to live this today you would probably find it incredibly difficult. But guess what, Jesus tells us that living and thinking like this is what will allow us to enter the kingdom of heaven. Pray that God gives you the humility, faith and trust like that of a little child to a parent. May you be converted in Jesus name!
Matthew 18:2-4 Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

At this stage in our life, we're gonna be tempted to feel like we know it all and we've got it sorted out because we're living alone or we're independent because legally we're adults. But don't be fooled, always look to the word. Jesus didn't say you have to be a wise university graduate to enter the kingdom but instead like a little child! If you have really young siblings, I challenge you to observe the way they speak and how their mind operates in terms of the way they interact with your parents (despite the little tantrums and mood swings of course). Learn from them.
