Twitter accounts you should be following before starting your advertising career.

People our age are so lucky; we can use our love for social media to increase the chance of getting a job. Yep, you heard that right, by following the right accounts (mainly on twitter) you can feed your mind with great content that will genuinely help you get your dream internship or job.

The content that these accounts tweet out will give you contextual information to speak about when you're in interviews and networking while teaching you masses about the subject.

Ann Handley is the Head of Content for Marketing Profs. Her twitter offers tonnes of tips on marketing and often discusses, retweets and engages with the discussions surrounding the latest trends. Get following.

It's not good enough to give these a quick scan just before an interview, you need to show that you've been interested in this industry and following its trends for over a year or so.
