Get your ass up!

Uni, much like work, supports one of the worst habits we have as human beings: sitting for long durations.

If we're not sitting in a lecture that is entirely too long, we're getting started on studying for an exam/ research for an assignment. Standing desks are helpful in this case, but are really impractical for a lot of us due to lack of availability at places like libraries and university classrooms. That, and they're pretty damn expensive!

As a result, we end up sitting down for long durations and our bodies are affected by this. Over time, the effects can be pretty detrimental to things like posture and back health. We all know how common back pain is!
