Good morning, good afternoon, good evening and good night (depending on where you are)! πŸŒπŸŒŽπŸŒ

Monday today marks the beginning of my final week of term: Friday marks the day where I eagerly go home for the holidays, my suitcases groaning with the strain of everything packed and my ears ringing with the sound of impatient parents' cars as my fellow students all leave campus.

The days in between are slightly less interesting - I still have lectures (sigh), but luckily there won't be any new content to go over (...or so I was promised πŸ€ž), so it's more just winding down, going over everything that we did at the beginning of term (and promptly forgot a week later) and relaxing. Because let's face it, concentration levels are probably going to be in the sub-zero levels with the thought of Christmas treats to come!

Are you all in the last week of term as well? Or perhaps you finish slightly later than me, so the end of term still seems distant? (Sorry.) How are you all marking the end of term - parties, sharing food in seminars?

I still can't really believe that not only have I finished my first(!) term at uni, but that things went off without a hitch - I passed all the tests, went to all the lectures (bar moments when I was sick), handed in all the work on time and generally did really well!

(I don't really want to sound like I'm bragging either, but I have to admit it was a lot more stressful at times than I thought it would be, so I guess I'm proud of myself for surviving: this post is just a pat on the back I suppose. πŸ˜›)

Happy Christmas to everyone who celebrates it, and happy holidays for everyone else with festivals going on currently or soon, and to the others just enjoy the winter cheer! β„️
