Hi guys! Hope you are all doing well and are super excited for freshers!
3 great tips I can give you:
Try to go to as many fresher events as you possibly can! It's a great time to meet new people and make friends especially if they are in your course. Everyone is in the same boat so you will never have that inclination of being left out. RGU and Aberdeen Uni do provide great events and even ones for those unfortunate souls who are under 18 so you guys can get out and enjoy yourselves!
Definitely join Societies! They are a great way for you to meet people from all different years and ages who have similar interests. It's always a great starting point for any new person on campus. (Some societies include: Dumbledore's Army, Film Society, Gaming, Mental Health Awareness, Gender Equality, LGBTQ+ to name just a few!)
* Lastly, make sure to get a hang of campus moodle which you can login through the universities site. You will gain access with your student number and will create a password for your own personal use. This a great way for you to check out the wonderful things RGU and their Student Presidents have to offer. You'll also be able to see your timetable and which modules you will be starting this year. Very exciting!

If you guys have any questions, I'm more than happy to help! I'm a twice time newbie to RGU so I know it can be stressful but such a wonderful/rewarding experience. I'm also a Rep for my class and President/member to a few societies, so please if you need anything don't hesitate to ask! 😊

Hope you enjoy your time at RGU and love your course! ❀️
