Is this the messiest Leeds Freshers story ever?

Freshers Week as a Second Year was wild this year, but not as wild as it was for my friends in the year below. I asked them for their wildest Freshers exploits, some of them came back with some funny stuff, but one of them, in particular, stood out...

Names have been changed, obviously, because who would want to be associated with this?

"It was the zoo party. We were all in fancy dress (we being myself, Emily, Rena, and Beth) and had paid about £20 for entry. I think this was the Friday or Saturday of Freshers, so, you know, it was a pretty big deal as it was one of the last events. Naturally, we decided to go pretty hard.

We usually drink a lot, but this night we really drank a lot, even for us. And stupidly, as I'd prioritised getting ready above eating, I hadn't had supper (wouldn't recommend...).

We got there (I don't even remember that, but we got there somehow), and after downing the rest of our alcohol on the pavement outside (classy) we went in. God knows how we got our tickets up on our phones.

Literally within two seconds of arriving, we went to the bathroom to throw up. Somehow I remember the decor being cool inside, so I'm gutted we missed the night. I was sick into the toilet bowl along with Rena, and Beth was sick into Emily's hand - she said she was going to be sick, so Emily presented her bare hand for her to be sick into. Marvellous.

At this point, I think I had bits of Rena and Beth's sick in my hair as well as my own. Emily had somehow not been sick... yet. We decided to stick to the smoking area for a while, just to get some air, but after Rena was sick on the Bouncer's shoes, we decided it was time to go home. Read: we got thrown out.

Next thing I remember I was in Emily's bed, and she was telling me it was okay for me to sleep there. Then she said 'I think I'm going to be sick', very calmly. I didn't think much of it as she didn't seem too drunk, but next thing I knew, she was throwing up onto her bedroom floor. At this point, I probably should have done something - instead, I passed out.

The next morning I woke up and Emily was in bed with me, and a congealing pool of vomit was soaking into a patch of floor in the middle of the room. I vaulted out of bed, ran to the bathroom, and was sick again. Great, right?

So, that's my Freshers Week story, and it may not be as 'wild' as some others, but I reckon it's certainly the messiest...sorry if it made you gag a little."

It did, but I also laughed quite a lot, so I guess it evened out.
